Following the successful first meeting of the Durham/Edinburgh/Glasgow network on ancient epistolography in Edinburgh in Feb. 2025, we invite you to the second meeting, which will take place in Durham on Friday 1 May 2026. Our goal is to give a platform for current research on epistolography and to connect scholars with an interest in ancient letter writing.
We invite proposals for 30 minute papers on any topic related to ancient epistolography; we welcome papers on work in progress and want to encourage PhD students and Postdocs to get in touch. We must stress, however, that we cannot provide funding for travel or accommodation.
